Our second day of our Leadership Lexington project LitLEX with Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Inc. at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School was a success! We had 80 volunteers from the business community and the University of Kentucky’s Von Allmen School of Accountancy leading sessions for the junior class. The two-day program was a great success, thanks to Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass and all the dedicated volunteers who took time out of their day to make a real impact. Thank you to our volunteers and partners! Commerce Lexington Inc. Although our second day of LitLEX, JA Real Life was cut short by the storms, the morning activities were a success! Had another 40 volunteers from the business community and the University of Kentucky’s Von Allmen School of Accountancy teach a few sessions to Paul Laurence Dunbar’s junior class this morning. The one and half day program was a success and could not have been so without Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, Inc. and our many volunteers that took time out of their daily lives to make a difference.
