Lara Acosta just let the cat out of the bag!
Lara has found an African soul-mate on LinkedIn!
I got talking with a creator here on LinkedIn who allayed her worries to me on the observation she made on LinkedIn...
One of her observations is that some or most people are now forming cliques in engagement.
I was somehow confused
She continued that no matter how many times little creators engage in some big creators content, they will not reciprocate for a day.
I encouraged her to continue to engage, even if these 'Big creators' do not engage, and not take offences or pay back!
Because when you engage on people's content, the benefits rubs off on you that is engaging than the content creator.
However, these are some of the things 'Big creators should stop, and start doing instead??
Stop commenting only on posts that have only high engagements on Linkedin
Stop despising the 'little creators beginnings because you were once a little creator, before you became big'
Stop selecting the creators that you comment on their posts.
E.g, if it is not someone without a number of followers and engagements, you will not drop your comments
Because you do not know where your target audience are.
You don't know if the your next client is hidden in the connection of that creator that has 1 like, 3 comments
Your comment on people's posts can bring you inbound leads!
Your comment on people's posts can bring you visibility.
It makes you a thought leader!
Start:
??Engaging on your connection's content including the small creators with little engagements.
??Reciprocate good gestures especially to those small creators that always engage in your post, just the same way Lara Acosta has started doing!
??Help the small creators to build by attending their live events, etc and mentor them without charging them to get it right, always.
??If you see a small creator making a mistakes, DM him or her to make it right, and don't use him or her to make a post criticizing her post either directly or indirectly.
Recognize you were a small creator before you became a big creator, and someone helped you to grow, so let's help the little ones grow.
Engagement on people's content is highly beneficial to the commentator!
And there is no rule that says 'It is only in the big creators content that your target audience is sitting pretty' ??
Start engaging on everyone's content today!
From: voiceless small creators! ??
PS: One of my LinkedIn rules is to engage on anyone's post on my feed, according to the time I slated out for engagements, no matter if the person has a high followership or engagements.
Have you noticed that there is a clique now in engagement on some set of people's content?
Have you consistently engaged on a big creator content as a small creator with no reciprocity?
What is your experience?
Let me hear your thoughts!
Repost so all 'Big creators' can hear the cries of the 'small creators
