关于我们
The Local Initiatives Support Corporation, known as LISC, is one of the largest organizations supporting projects to revitalize communities and bring greater economic opportunity to residents. As one of LISC’s local offices, we provide capital, strategy and know-how to our Twin Cities community development partners. Our work benefits one out of every five people in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Since our founding in 1988, we’ve invested more than $900 million dollars of our own money and leveraged $2.9 billion in additional investments—all to support local community development projects. As a result, more than 17,000 families have access to affordable places to live; 8,000 people have improved their financial stability; and local neighborhood residents are enjoying 2.4 million square feet of new or renovated community and commercial space—that’s the size of US Bank stadium! With residents and partners, LISC forges resilient and inclusive communities of opportunity across America – great places to live, work, visit, do business, and raise families.

A reminder about our upcoming conversations, hosted jointly with friends from Propel Nonprofits and Springboard for the Arts. We'll be meeting every other Monday through the end of the year on the urgent need for capital funding and sustained investment for arts organizations, venues, and the buildings in which they operate. This coming Monday we will be chatting with Allison (Allie) Wagstrom for an "AMA." What questions do you have about loans, bridge loans, and how that works? What helps orgs get through? When do you know if this type of assistance is right for you? Once you register, the link will be the same for all meetings.? https://lnkd.in/gM2bXX2t
