On March 18th, LISC Hampton Roads with the City of Norfolk, VA hosted an information session for our Lead Abatement Training Incentive Program. On Friday, March 14th, LISC Hampton Roads hosted our first ever Local Advisory Committee retreat! We brainstormed strategic operations for the short and long-term. Todd Walker, MPA with Judeo-Christian Outreach Center was kind enough to come down and talk?about the impact LISC has had for his organization, inspiring a wonderful discussion about potential future partnership opportunities. The JCOC 3H Housing project is well underway to bring much needed affordable housing and supportive services to the Virginia Beach community!! I got a chance to do a walk through with some of our partners today to review the progress.
