What is the true power of good design? Can thoughtfully crafted spaces help us become better versions of ourselves? As designers, do we have the ability to inspire growth and foster connection within our communities? These are the important questions I often reflect on when considering the impact my work has on the world. It’s a topic I had the privilege of discussing on a panel at this year’s Future of Design Expo at High Point Market Speaking opportunities like this allow me to share with others in our industry the deeper purpose behind what we do. Good design goes beyond creating beautiful spaces; it’s about designing with the end user in mind and considering the many ways we can craft a sanctuary tailored to their unique needs. By doing so, we create environments that support the essential daily practices of rest and relaxation, enabling us to nurture the best versions of ourselves.
