I'm excited to share that I'll be heading to Hawthorne, CA next summer to intern with the SpaceX Dragon 2 propulsion team! Thank you to Rohan Mehta for the initial connection and to Josh Lee, Skyler Delatorre, Hope Haythorne, and Lucy Gradinger for a smooth and quick recruitment process!

Last Friday, two members of our team, Henry Stearns and Ellie R. Murray, were given the opportunity to visit Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA to present LRL’s engineering accomplishments and tour their facilities. We’d like to thank Gulfstream Aerospace for hosting us as well as North Carolina State University alumni and current GAC engineers, Blake Monkus and Matt Sutton, who helped coordinate this experience. The Aerial Robotics Club at NC State made this visit possible through the Engineer Your Experience program provided by NCSU. Because of EYE, 15 undergraduate engineers at NC State, including members from LRL, ARC, NCSU AIAA, SolarPack NCSU, and Pack Motorsports Baja were able to attend. We are looking forward to working with Gulfstream Aerospace more as we seek mentorship and expertise in our engineering endeavors.

Fourth-Year studying Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University || Seeking job opportunities within Aerospace and Mechanical Industries in Flight Controls, Structures, or Aerodynamics.
Last week, I had the privilege of joining Jim Pfaendtner, Dean of Engineering at NC State, for an inspiring dinner filled with wisdom, humor, and great conversations. A big thank you to the NCSU Engineer’s Council for making this memorable experience possible! I’m excited to carry forward the leadership insights I gained and apply them to Liquid Rocketry Lab as we continue driving innovation and development here at NC State.

Introducing the Fall 2024 Leadership team at Liquid Rocketry Lab! This talented group is dedicated to advancing our mission to develop cutting-edge hydrogen peroxide propulsion systems and steering our rocket development efforts toward reaching space. Our next steps include conducting a validation cold flow of our rocket engine test stand in preparation for catalyst bed testing next semester!

Liquid Rocketry Lab is proud to announce the successful completion of the first full system cold flow!???? This major milestone involved the pressurization and automated test sequencing of our test stand at the full operating pressure of 1000 PSI with water to validate our plumbing, electronics, software, and operating procedures. The team has worked incredibly hard over the past semester to reach this milestone, and we look forward to continuing a cold flow cadence into the spring! https://lnkd.in/eK6WBMPw
