I had the honor to testify recently before the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee on pipeline safety. I highlighted the vital role of pipelines delivering American energy abundance from where it is produced to where consumers need energy in their local regions. I shared Liquid Energy Pipeline Association priorities for reauthorization of federal pipeline safety statutes laws including leveraging safety technology and knowledge, supporting American energy, and improving PHMSA safety programs. While I have done this before, it is always a thrill and a fascinating exercise. Long ago, I sat behind committee members and watched witnesses with them.
