Our founder, Renata Helfman, recently made a special journey to St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, spending meaningful time with patients and reconnecting with our incredible team of Angels. This visit is a beautiful reflection of the partnership between Lipstick Angels and SBH, where compassion and care come together in service of healing. Each person—our compassionate Infusion Coordinator Lisa Acosta, the invaluable Flo Ellis from Volunteer Services, NYC Program Manager Samantha, and devoted volunteer Maria—embodies the heart of our mission to uplift patients’ spirits. Our Beauty and Wellness class at the Monterey Bay CHOMP location was full of warmth, connection, and self-care! ???? It was such a joy to see participants come together, uplift one another, and take a moment for themselves. With our Monterey Bay Program Manager, Madeleine Cooper, leading the way, the room was filled with beauty, inside and out. ?? While at UCSF Mission Bay, something magical happened. ???? Our volunteer, Vicki ZhangLo, was in the middle of giving a calming hand massage when a rainbow appeared through the windows, casting its light on the patient’s wrist. In that moment, it felt like the universe was sending a reminder of hope, beauty, and healing. ?? Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—bringing comfort and light to those who need it most.? Thank you, Vicki, for creating such a special memory.

?What an incredible moment at the Spirit of Hope Gala Luncheon! Our founder, Renata Helfman, was honored to stand alongside Christopher Clinton Conway, CEO of Tower Cancer Research Foundation, as we came together to support a cause so close to our hearts. While Lipstick Angels provides beauty and wellness services to uplift and empower patients during their treatment, Tower is dedicated to advancing research and care for the entire cancer community.
