After nearly three years of court-supervised restructuring, Fairport Baptist Homes’ Chapter 11 plan of liquidation was confirmed on February 26 with overwhelming support—more than 99% of voting unsecured creditors approved the plan. As debtor’s counsel, #LippesMathias partner Johnny Mueller led the not-for-profit skilled nursing facility through the process, including a competitive auction that increased the facility’s value by nearly 80% over initial estimates. The sale proceeds are funding the confirmed plan and supporting distributions across all creditor classes. Congratulations to Fairport Baptist Homes on this favorable outcome.

Today, we're celebrating a significant milestone for Patricia M. Dodson, counsel in our Jacksonville office, who was officially sworn in as a member of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) on March 25. ABOTA membership is by invitation only and reserved for trial lawyers who meet high standards of courtroom experience, integrity, and reputation. Members must have served as lead counsel in at least seven civil jury trials to verdict. Patricia has tried more than 70 jury trials across both civil and criminal courts throughout her 30-year career. Congratulations on this tremendous honor, Patty!
