When LWVI conducts #wetlabs around the world, we enhance the skills of surgeons so that patients in need of a #cornea transplant receive the highest quality care and experience exceptional outcomes. "I truly appreciated the opportunity to participate in the?LWVI?wet lab on #CAIRS at #AAO. It was a unique experience that allowed me to learn a new procedure under the instruction of world expert surgeons, including Dr. Soosan Jacob, and the staff of LWVI. The wet lab was extremely efficient, well organized and included excellent equipment for the learners. I hope to be able to incorporate the skills learned in my practice in the future. #WeSeeClearly that St. Vincent Regional Hospital has made an incredible impact on #sight restoration. Serving Montana’s largest city, Billings, St. Vincent restored #vision for 124 individuals in 2023, with another 88 people benefiting in just the first nine months of 2024. The dedicated staff at St. Vincent truly “see clearly” the mission of LWVI, advocating passionately for all forms of donation. If you ever have the chance to visit, be sure to see their inspiring Donor Wall, which honors the many organ, tissue, and #cornea donors who have given the gift of life and sight.
