A successful Lions Day with the United Nations in New York left Lions and Leos inspired and energized. The event included a discussion moderated by Past District Governor Jackie Williams, Lions Representative to UNODC, with Mr. Werner Obermeyer, Director of World Health Organization (WHO) Office at UN NY; PID Gary Brown, Lions Representative to UNICEF; and Leo-Lion Ishaan Sudan, Leo Representative to UNEP. The focus was The Future of Service, exploring unique perspectives on technology, human connection, and how Lions, Leos and the UN are using both to change the world together.
