I’m beyond thrilled to share this incredible milestone for Hnry! ???? As of today, Hnry has officially expanded into the UK! ?????? Over the years, we’ve helped tens of thousands of sole traders across New Zealand and Australia to never think about tax again, and now we’re bringing Hnry to the UK - with the opportunity to revolutionise the way that millions of sole traders work. This has been a huge effort from our teams across New Zealand and Australia, as well as our local UK team, and I want to give a particular shout-out to our incredible Head of UK - Manase Mtopa - who has done a fantastic job of establishing our UK operation since he joined us back in 2023. The work the whole Hnry team has done in adapting our service to the UK market has been nothing short of outstanding. ?? ?? Our UK waitlist is now open! If you’re a sole trader in the UK, sign up here to be one of the first to get access: https://hnry.co.uk We have many more awesome updates in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to share what’s next for Hnry as we continue to expand. A huge thank you to our entire team, our customers, and our investors who have backed Claire and I every step of the way! (Also a big thanks to Jonathan Mitchell at the NBR - National Business Review for the fantastic write-up! ??) #selfemployment #contracting #freelance #soletrader #accounting #fintech #neverthinkabouttaxagain #HnryUK

At LionPoint Coaching we partner with companies, people, and missions that truly inspire us. Trust is at the core of everything we do. It’s one of our guiding ethos principles found on our website: “Safety and trust are the backbone of every LionPoint relationship.” WeForest is a perfect example. Marie-No?lle Keijzer, David Bircher and Olivier Standaert consistently lead with their values, as highlighted in their article below about the critical role of trust in restoration efforts. We encourage you to explore WeForest’s thoughtful piece. Trust between restoration organisations and local communities is often overlooked, but plays a critical role in ensuring the success of restoration efforts. In this guest blog from Natasha Watts, WeForest's Head of Project Development, and Belgian researcher Sybryn Maes, we explore why trust matters, how it influences community engagement, and why local wisdom is key to creating sustainable, people-driven restoration. • At LionPoint Coaching, giving back is one way we live out our mission: helping leaders pursue ambitious change in service to current and future generations. This year, we’re continuing our tradition by donating 2.4% of our profits in ’24 to support seven incredible organizations, including: *WeForest: For the second year, we’re proud to further support to their global reforestation efforts, while also partnering with their senior leadership team through pro bono coaching. *Sarcoma Foundation of America: Supporting vital research to improve outcomes and increase survival rates for those affected by sarcoma cancers. *Plus five additional organizations in which the donation is made in the name of the team member that selected it: Somo, @ The Kamzang Fund, Green Beret Foundation, FETCH a Cure, American Exchange Project. At the start of this year, we set an intention to give not only financially, but also through our time and passion. We delivered on this commitment. This last year, pro bono coaching represented 7.8% of our annual revenue. In doing so we were able to help leaders of social-enterprises and non-profits gain clarity into the challenges they face, enabling them to thrive in these demanding leadership contexts while always remaining true to who they are. To our clients and community: your partnership and support makes this possible. Thank you for continuing to be part of this journey. Here’s to a new year filled with even more impact! Wishing you a Happy and Peaceful Holiday Season! #givingback #probonocoaching #happyholidays

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all playbook for courageously authentic leadership. At LionPoint, we take a deeply personal approach to coaching because every leader is a unique person who is always evolving. The best leaders are hungry to increase their self-awareness—to uncover what’s true about themselves and evolve in parallel with their organizations. History is full of leaders and thinkers who found clarity in their own authentic values and transformed the way they lead. Taking inspiration from three LionPoint summer book recommendations: *Howard Schultz, Founder of Starbucks, rediscovered his purpose when he stepped back into the CEO role during the 2008 financial crisis. By reconnecting with his vision of community and culture, he redefined Starbucks’ strategy and revitalized the brand. (Inspired by David Brooks, in The Second Mountain) *Fred Rogers, the innovative entrepreneur and beloved creator of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, lived his values of kindness and empathy. His unwavering authenticity and belief in the inherent worth of every individual created a legacy of trust, connection, and lasting impact. (Inspired by Maxwell King, in The Good Neighbor: The Life of Mr. Rogers) *Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, embraced empathy as a core leadership value. By leading with curiosity and compassion, he shifted Microsoft’s culture from competition to collaboration, unlocking unprecedented innovation and growth. (Inspired by dr.dana ardi, author of The Fall of the Alphas) These leaders and thinkers achieved greatness not because they followed a playbook, but because they dared to ask the hard questions: Who am I as a leader? What do I value? What is my vision for the future? At LionPoint, we help founders and leaders answer these questions—and many more. #leadership #authenticleadership #executivecoach

  • Recommended Reflection: We encourage you to think of specific key strategic initiatives you’ve been working on recently, and reflect on the following questions: *If the team achieves its goals, will the vision, as you imagine it, be brought to life? *Do the goals provide broader meaning and purpose and connect to why they need to be accomplished? *Does your team feel empowered to take initiative, make critical decisions, and remain flexible in response to changing conditions? *Have you and your team identified the checkpoints that will define the optimal trajectory toward the end goal? *Are goals being used to evaluate progress, diagnose problems, and continue to create learning for your company? Where an answer is “no” or “I’m not sure,” do you and your team know why not? To help you answer these questions and more, read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eHEwfQny #goalclarity #leadingwithpurpose #executivecoaching

  • The late Pat Tillman, who was killed in action in Afghanistan, is just one of many whose life represents this ethos. He spoke of the spirit embodied by those who gave their lives in service to our country: “Somewhere inside, we hear a voice. It leads us in the direction of the person we wish to become. But it is up to us whether or not to follow.” We encourage everyone to think of ways they can follow that voice and be of service to others as a way to honor the service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Please consider supporting the Pat Tillman Foundation (founded by Marie Tillman) by making a donation, reading about the Tillman Scholars, or picking up the book “Where Men Win Glory” by @Jon Krakauer to learn more about Pat’s life. At LionPoint we try to memorialize Pat’s sacrifice, and those classmates, friends, and fellow servicemembers by living up to their values and striving to serve our community, our clients, and each other in a way that honors their memory. We strive. Wishing everyone a peaceful Memorial Day. #memorialday2022 #service
