As part of Elk Grove Unified School District Elk Grove High School's multi-phase campus transformation, two new state-funded Career Technical Education (CTE) buildings - one dedicated to Culinary Arts and another for Agriculture Science - enhance options for students. The Culinary Arts facility was completed in 2022, while the Agriculture Science building is currently under construction. Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with District stakeholders to ensure every detail supports the educational objectives of these specialized spaces. We're honored to contribute to preparing the next generation for successful careers through these innovative CTE programs!

Our Fresno City College New Science Building in the State Center Community College District is officially open! This new facility provides state-of-the-art laboratory and instructional spaces for Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Engineering programs while serving Design Science students from Fresno Unified School District. We can't wait for the students and faculty to enjoy this new space for years to come!

Last Wednesday, we attended the groundbreaking for the brand new Grantline Elementary School in Rancho Cordova. We are so proud and excited for this new state of the art school which will be at the heart of the community! Elk Grove Unified School District FLINT

We attended the MiraCosta College ribbon cutting for the new Chemistry and Biotechnology Hub! Lionakis served as the criteria architect for this project and assisted during construction. Congrats to the entire project team on a fantastic new building!

Lionakis is excited to welcome Rachel Clemente, AIA, CDT, LEED AP to our team as a Senior Associate in the Education Studio. With over 24 years of dedicated experience, Rachel brings exceptional expertise in educational facility design along with a genuine passion for creating spaces that inspire young minds. Rachel’s comprehensive background spans Planning, Design, and Project Management across the Education, Civic, Retail, and Commercial sectors. Her holistic approach and deep understanding of educational needs enable her to create innovative spaces to support both teachers and students. We are thrilled to have Rachel join us, where her expertise will not only enhance our Education Studio, but will also contribute to mentoring the next generation of architects and designers.
