LIOCO is a winery located in Healdsburg, CA, producing California wines from special places. The winery is owned and operated by the Licklider family. Husband/wife duo Matt and Sara Licklider and their small team produce the wines at a state-of-the-art winemaking cooperative in Santa Rosa. All of the fruit is purchased from exceptional vineyards spanning 200-miles and three counties (Santa Cruz, Sonoma, and Mendocino). The focus is on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Carignan from sites with older vines, interesting soil, and heritage clones. Thank you to all of our Bay Area members who came out last night for the sold out LIOCO Takeover @theprogress_sf It was so great to connect with all of you. We feel blessed! And thank you to the service team, kitchen, and management staff at what is truly one of the great restaurants of the world. So lucky to have this establishment in our backyard. ?? We have been eating at Stuart & Nicole’s restaurants since they opened. Last night’s meal was the best we’ve ever had at Progress. If you have not been in to the restaurant in a while (or since the pandemic as many guests shared with us) do yourself a favor and make a reservation. If you can get one! ;)

Bartolomei Vineyard Old Vine Carignan ? A few years ago we told our partners Vince and Rory Bartolomei we’d pay them a lot more for their fruit if they gave LIOCO exclusivity to their oldest blocks of Carignan. They agreed. You have to set your clocks back 100 years when you visit Talmage. Folks still ride into town on horseback around here. And it’s one of the last bastions for this heirloom grape that time passed by. The Bartolomei Ranch was planted during WWII and the vines soldier on. Our 2023 Carignan Rosè release is now live. https://lnkd.in/gjZPWuER

LIOCO X The Progress S.F. Wine Dinner ~ March 28 By now you probably know about our deep affection for Chefs Stuart & Nicole's three S.F. restaurants (State Bird Provisions, Anchovy Bar, and The Progress). So it goes without saying, we're HYPED to be returning to Michelin Star The Progress on Thursday, March 28th for a night of low-commitment / maximum enjoyment. The dining room will be doing a normal dinner service with a special "All-LIOCO All-The-Time" wine list. There will be a flight of LIOCO wines, LIOCO wines by the glass, LIOCO wines by the bottle.
