We’re teenagers! Yes, you read that correctly. Today, we’re thrilled to be celebrating the 13th anniversary of LINK’s founding. While we find youthful joy in the pursuit of doing well while doing good, we’re also deeply humbled by the privilege of being able to serve so many communities around the world. The impact we’ve achieved as we’ve grown from a proud small local firm to a thriving team of professionals across the world has only been possible because of the partnerships formed along the way. In our journey so far, we’ve seen the world change in dynamic ways. In this moment, our most urgent opportunity is to harness our convening power—to create spaces where people can connect, collaborate, and co-create impact. Based on everything we’ve experienced, we’re convinced that our best chance at success remains rooted in hyperlocal, authentic, community-driven work. So, as we begin another journey around the sun—and a great many trips around this wonderful planet we all share—we extend our deepest gratitude to you for inspiring us to always be better. And we invite you to join us as we forge the brighter future that we all deserve. #Onward.

Happy #WomensHistoryMonth from #TeamLINK! As a team where 65% of its members identify as women, we celebrate and uplift the accomplishments of women everyday. And, this month especially, we reflect on all the contributions women have made throughout history. As we reflect, members of our team have read a special poem by Maya Angelou that we hope you will find as meaningful as we do.

DC’s famous Cherry Blossoms have reached their first stage of bloom and #TeamLINK has summoned its pink formalwear out of hibernation. Which means only one thing: it’s finally time for National Cherry Blossom Festival’s Pink Tie Party! ?? Tonight’s celebration raises funds to help ensure that our partners at the National Cherry Blossom Festival are able to keep the festival’s wonderful events free to the public. We’re so proud to be supporting such a wonderful tradition. If you’re here at Union Station DC, come find us and we’ll raise a toast to springtime in the Nation’s Capital!

This week, #LINKUK was proud to be part of the third annual National Conference on Societal Resilience at the The University of Manchester. Resilience is an increasingly vital concept to understand these days—in the context of our organizations, our communities, and our people. A major theme of the conference is one that speaks directly to the way LINK approaches its own work. Specifically, the conversation explored how hyperlocal connections and careful planning are essential for keeping our communities safe in both times of crisis and times of calm. We’re grateful to the National Consortium for Societal Resilience [UK+] for hosting this optimistic (and timely) conference. We’re already looking forward to next year, especially as we consider how the world might change between now and then.

Community partnerships and collaboration are at the core of everything we do, and Day 2 in Rio was a powerful testament to the connections we’ve built and continue to grow in collaboration with Events DC. We began the day returning to the DC-produced mural by My Ly, Gabo Lemos, and Aniekan Udofia in collaboration with Rua Walls—a vibrant symbol of the deep cultural ties between DC and Rio. Seeing this community collaboration again reinforced the power of storytelling through arts and culture. One of the true highlights was being welcomed back by B.C. Pinto Sarado to join Carnival, a moment that felt like an extension of the bond we’ve built with this community and the mural. Alongside Malik DOPE, we brought Go-Go to the streets of Rio, fusing it with the energy of Samba—a true celebration of culture, music, and unity. Obrigado to our Rio family for embracing us once again. These partnerships are not just about events; they are about relationships, shared experiences, and a future where we continue to build together. DC and Rio—always connected. #TeamLINK #Community #CulturalExchange
