At Link Construction Group, safety is our top priority. Team Link and Prologis recently held a Safety Awareness Day at our AIPO T34 jobsite - Buildings 100 & 200 in Orlando, FL. It was a fantastic day filled with barbeque and prizes. In the continued support for St. Thomas University, the Link Team joined the STU Family at the 14th Annual Stone Crab Dinner in support of and to raise funds for STU Bobcat athletic programs, ensuring that the 1,200 student-athletes have access to top-notch resources, facilities, and experiences as they train and compete. Link is proud to announce that our signature project, the Miami Association of Realtors Global Headquarters, has achieved LEED Gold for exceptional sustainable building. Designed by RSP Architects, this magnificent five-story building boasts 36,500 sq ft of Class-A office space, state-of-the-art space, and an 82,500 sq ft parking garage. This accomplishment is due in part to the incredible collaboration with the Link team, the Miami Association of Realtors, RSP Architects, and Sharpe Project Development. This award-winning project, designed by Cabrera Ramos Architects, is a 45,923 SF, two-story, state-of-the-art facility with 70 private rooms in a dorm setting. There is a fully functioning high-end kitchen with a dining hall on the first floor and a warming kitchen on the second floor. Today's #FridayFlyover takes place at our project, St. Thomas University Dormitory and Bowling Alley. Just breaking ground in July, this project is progressing quickly, as Link topped out the building this month. Designed by MKC Architects and developed by University Housing Solutions in partnership with the university, this will be a 121,000-square-foot, 5-story building with 545 beds. The project also includes a lobby, a community hub, and a resident lounge. Shared amenities will feature an 8-lane bowling alley, a restaurant café, co-working and private study rooms, and back-of-the-house and utility rooms. Levels 2 to 5 will consist of residential double- and single-bedroom dorm rooms. This marks Link’s fourth student housing project on this campus, and we are proud of our continued relationship with STU.
