Celebrating Women & Girls in Technical Skills! ????? Today, on International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we at Link 4 Change celebrate the remarkable contributions of women and girls in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETs) across Kenya! This year’s theme, "Unpacking STEM Careers: Her Voice in Engineering," highlights the power of technical skills in shaping the future. From construction ?? to automotive ??, welding ??, electrical engineering ?, and IT ??—women and girls are proving that they belong in every sector. Yet, the reality is that women remain underrepresented in technical fields. It’s time for change. Here’s how we can make a difference: ? Break gender stereotypes early by normalizing technical skills for girls in schools. ? Bridge the gap from training to employment, ensuring that more women transition from TVETs to meaningful careers. ? Highlight role models—because when young girls see successful women in technical fields, they believe they can achieve the same. At Link 4 Change, we are not just talking about change—we are driving it. Our mission is to ensure that technical professionals transition into dignified employment and have the support they need to start their own ventures and become employers themselves. Join us in celebrating the achievements of women in technical fields and in creating a future where more girls confidently pursue careers in STEM and TVET! ???? #YouthEmpowerment #WomenInSTEM #TVET #FutureOfWork #Link4Change
