Lingerfelt is pleased to announce that Jodie Strum has been appointed Managing Director, Capital Markets & Investor Relations. In this leadership role, Strum will leverage her experience and expertise to drive Lingerfelt’s strategic initiatives in capital formation and investor relations. Jodie is responsible for securing capital commitments to support Lingerfelt’s commercial real estate projects through its ongoing private equity vehicles. In her role, she will proactively source and cultivate relationships with potential limited partners, expanding the firm's investor network. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including development, acquisitions, finance, and legal—she will align capitalization strategies with project and fund requirements and overall business objectives. Jodie will coordinate and manage investor presentations with senior leadership, serving as a primary point of contact for equity investors. Prior to joining Lingerfelt, Jodie was a Principal at Atlantic Real Estate Capital. Her experience included originating, underwriting, closing, and servicing commercial loans for a variety of property types and lenders. Over the last 20 years, Jodie has built an extensive network of connections and has facilitated more than $3B worth of debt and equity transactions. Her deal experience spans the entire country and all property types. She specializes in the strategy and structure behind complex financing placements and has advised on development, construction, permanent, bridge, and mezzanine transactions. She has successfully executed deals through various capital sources including, but not limited to, institutional, private equity, hedge fund, conduit, and traditional bank financing. Welcome Jodie!

Lingerfelt is pleased to announce the recent signing of a 163,853 square-foot lease expansion with NEFCO at Northlake Distribution Center - Building C, located at 11800 N Lakeridge Pkwy, Ashland, VA 23005. Jason Hetherington, SIOR, Brad Lowry, MBA, Doug Tice, IV (Richmond, VA) and Michael Puzzo (Hartford, CT) of CBRE represented NEFCO, while Matt Anderson, SIOR and Harrison McVey of Range Commercial Partners represented Lingerfelt in the transaction. NEFCO is a family owned and operated construction supply company providing a broad range of products and services to a large variety of professional contractors. With 41 locations throughout the United States, NEFCO provides localized, contractor-centric services including extensive industry expertise, large local inventories, fast dependable jobsite delivery, turnkey engineering services, and specialty fabrication and assembly of construction materials. Northlake Distribution Center is a 293,187 square-foot, Class-A industrial warehouse-distribution facility located in the Lakeridge industrial node of Hanover County, with immediate access to I-95 and direct connectivity to the Greater Richmond region’s major distribution arteries. Lingerfelt acquired the building as part of a greater portfolio in March of 2023, immediately executing a capital improvement program which included full roof replacements, asphalt replacements, building painting, and LED retrofits, among other enhancements. Lingerfelt and Colliers are pleased to announce the execution of an 85,750 square-foot, full-building lease with Shepherd Electric Supply in Building 2 at Ashton Logistics Park, located at 1630 Ashton Park Drive, South Chesterfield, VA 23834. Colliers’ Wood Thornton, Rob Dirom, and Frank Hargrove III handled lease negotiations on behalf of Lingerfelt. Founded in 1892, Shepherd Electric Supply is the oldest wholesale electrical distributor in the Mid-Atlantic region, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Graybar, an American wholesale electrical, communications and data networking products distribution business included on the Fortune 500 list of the largest US corporations. Ashton Logistics Park is a two-building, 523,407 square-foot, Class-A industrial warehouse-distribution park situated in Chesterfield County's Ashton Creek industrial node. The speculative development project, designed and constructed by ARCO Design/Build, delivered in Q1 of 2024 at 84% occupancy, with Building 1 (437,657 SF) entirely pre-leased during construction. The Shepherd Electric lease brings Ashton Logistics Park to 100% occupancy on a long-term basis, and marks the notable milestone of 100% occupancy of Lingerfelt’s 1.8 million square-foot, seven-building industrial portfolio in the Ashton Creek node of Chesterfield County alone. Lingerfelt and Colliers are pleased to report the execution of a 106,376 square-foot lease with PECO Pallet, Inc. at Port 801, located at 801 Port Walthall Drive in Chesterfield County, VA. The transaction brings Port 801 to 100% occupancy with long-term, credit tenancy. PECO Pallet, Inc. is one of North America’s largest providers of rental pallet services to the beverage, grocery, and consumer products industries. The transaction establishes PECO’s primary operating facility serving the Greater Richmond business community as well as clients North to Fairfax, Southeast to Norfolk, and West into West Virginia. PECO is the second tenant now operational at Port 801, which is a 239,448 square-foot ground-up speculative industrial warehouse project designed and delivered for Lingerfelt by ARCO Design/Build in Q4 of 2022.
