Lineus Medical? focuses on increasing the patient's overall quality of care during IV therapy. We provide a safe solution to reduce overall IV complications requiring an IV restart. Our SafeBreak? Vascular device utilizes a patented "break-away" technology to create a separation in the IV tubing. Before securement and adhesives fail, the SafeBreak Vascular separates. This preserves the IV access line from becoming dislodged, which can lead to blood loss and infection. In a matter of minutes, a medical care giver can remove the separated SafeBreak Vascular and replace it with a new one so that the patient's medical treatment can resume.

Lineus Medical — Vance Clement → The company received FDA De Novo clearance for SafeBreak Vascular, the first breakaway device for medical intravenous lines, in 2015. Since then, the indications for SafeBreak have been expanded in 2023 to include patients 2 weeks of age and older for peripheral IVs, mid-lines, PICCs, central lines, ports, and intraosseous lines. SafeBreak is designed to separate to protect a patient's IV when a force of 4 lbs or greater is placed on the patient's IV line. 3. SpectraWAVE, Inc. — Eman Namati → The company's HyperVue Imaging System brings next-generation intravascular imaging to the cath lab to provide interventional cardiologists with powerful images and simplified workflows. HyperVue consists of a mobile control station where images are displayed and the Starlight Imaging Catheter. Starlight is a low-profile, no-flush-prep catheter that enables rapid pullback that facilitates efficient imaging of complex lesions.
