Bot-generated PRs—like those from Dependabot or Renovate—now account for 13.3% of all PRs across software engineering teams. Yet, many organizations struggle with managing them effectively: – 96.2% of bot-created PRs are untraceable in PM tools, posing a major compliance risk. – 37.5% of Dependabot updates are deleted without action, wasting effort and leaving your codebase vulnerable. – Teams using Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI) automation can safely auto-approve 84% of their bot PRs and auto-merge 41.2% of patch updates—reducing manual reviews by 6%.
