Don’t use your monthly metrics meeting as a top-down data dump. If that’s all you do, you might as well not track metrics at all. Instead, you should empower your managers to analyze insights and present their own findings to engineering leadership. Here are some things to focus on: - DORA metrics: Did we experience any quality or efficiency problems? - Work breakdown: Are we spending time as expected and managing cognitive load? - Review effectiveness: Are PRs getting meaningful and efficient feedback? - Best practices:?
