When you fall, you pick yourself back up ???? During the first race in Italy at the end of last week, I went down. The next day I stood back up. Because no matter what life throws at me, I will always continue to try my best every day. I didn’t risk much in the second race but it was a solid run, only .30 off of the podium, and I did exactly what I wanted to do. I improved my ranking and qualified for the World Cup Finals in both Downhill and Super-G!! Considering I never thought I would be here, I’m pretty happy with the regular season, and there’s still two races to go! It’s great to be back home now and I’m looking forward to race in?Sun Valley this weekend ???????? Grazie to all of the fans for cheering and to all of the course workers who pulled off the races despite challenging weather and snow! Vi amo tutti! ??????????

My Mom was always a huge source of inspiration. She was incredibly positive and no matter what adversity she faced she approached every day with a smile and love. Her spirit will always inspire me no matter how much time passes. There are many other women I look to for inspiration as well, and thankfully I don’t have to look far. It’s been a privilege to be on the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team team again with so many incredible women and they are just a few of the many who have paved a path for us to follow. Thank you to every woman who does their best, who never settles, who walks their own path, who loves, who fails and picks themselves back up ??????

Happy Women's History Month from Sofia Leveratto, one of our amazing Youth Ambassadors! Sofia is an alpine ski racer & STEM student from Buenos Aires, Argentina living in Salt Lake City. She engages in neonatal research at the University of Utah, and is aspiring to a career in the medical field in order to help those who need it most. Alongside her inspirations, including Rosalind Franklin, Gerty Cori, and her mom, Sofia is making waves in the STEM world as a confident woman with a passion for research. We ?? full circle moments like these! 8 years ago, Lindsey Vonn met a very sweet girl named Maya at an LVF camp who asked her to sign her forehead ?? 8 years later, Maya was there to support the US Ski Team in Beaver Creek at the events Lindsey was forerunning! She asked for a forehead signature again, and naturally, Lindsey had to oblige! ?? Great to see you doing so well, Maya—keep moving mountains!

Life is short and we only get one shot… The only failure is giving up. Sometimes it’s easy to let negative thoughts get in the way of chasing our dreams. I’ve been trying to stay positive this week to be ready the upcoming races this weekend in?Kvitfjell… it’ll be the first time I’ve ever raced there. Excited for a new challenge! This month, Lindsey Vonn stopped by Aiglon College to run drills, coach groups, and head up the mountain for Mountain School day, inspiring young students and feeling inspired by their grit and growth in return!
