Some impressive new findings from the Joint Industry Committee for Mail (@JICmail) in the UK:? ? 77% of mail was read or looked at (the highest ever recorded) and direct mail stayed in homes for an average of 7 days. ? 6% of mail prompted a purchase in Q4 2024, 15% led to a discussion, and 8% prompted a website visit. ? Rising concerns over digital ad fraud, last-click attribution models, and competition for consumer attention highlight the importance of mail as a “Super Touchpoint” in marketing strategies.
Over three-quarters (77%) of mail was read or looked at in the crucial Q4 trading period, according to the latest quarterly results from JICMAIL, representing an all-time-high reading of this engagement metric since JICMail began tracking consumer mail behaviours eight years ago.
