We are one of the Chicago Area's largest excavating contractors with our current fleet of equipment and trucks. Our excavating services, both the public and private sector, include all types of commercial excavation and grading, road construction and reconstruction, site preparation, retention ponds and reservoirs, airport construction, concrete recycling, and fine grading utilizing GPS technologies Since it's founding in 1927, Lindahl Brothers, Inc., has earned its reputation as a leading excavating contractor in the Chicagoland area. Lindahl Brothers was founded by three brothers. They began with a couple of trucks used to haul coal, granite, cynder block, and ash, which were parked behind their parents house in Chicago. At first the trucks were loaded by hand, and later earthmoving equipment was added to expedite the loading of material. They have since expanded and continue to complete earthmoving projects using their modern fleet of equipment and trucks. Lindahl Brothers expanded its operation in 1978 to include recycling of broken concrete to save landfill space and reuse the crushed material in new projects. Lindahl Brothers continues to improve services for their customers by utilizing the latest advancements in technology that are available. Lindahl Brothers is a dedicated service organization and they are known throughout the industry for their dependability and performance.

Halfway to the top! Our team is making incredible progress on another 40,000 SF deck pour at 917 W Fulton. The massive post-tensioned band beam deck pour was completed in just six working days. The project is a 530,000 SF Class A Office Structure in Chicago's West Loop designed by Thornton Tomasetti and FitzGerald. GOING VERTICAL! 919 W Fulton, a new 11-story mixed-use office development, is quickly taking shape in Chicago's Fulton Market neighborhood. Last week, our project team and trade partners completed another concrete pour. These large deck pours take a tremendous team effort and coordination. Congrats to all involved!
