Following the tragic collision at Reagan National Airport, our CEO, Lynda Tran, emphasizes the indispensable role of the federal civil service in ensuring aviation safety. As the NTSB conducts its independent investigation, experienced career civil servants at the FAA are leading efforts to respond. As Lynda notes, air travel remains the safest mode of transportation, a testament to the dedication of those who keep our skies secure. #AviationSafety https://lnkd.in/eK_t5VVX

We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than by attending the 104th Annual Transportation Research Board (TRB) Meeting in Washington, D.C. Despite a snowstorm, our team had an incredible time reconnecting with familiar faces at the U.S. Department of Transportation and engaging in productive discussions about the future of transportation policy. We're excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful for all the leaders driving progress forward for the American people. #TRB2025 #transportation

First flight lesson in the books thanks to the boundless encouragement and support of the one and only Captain Barrington Irving. Endless thanks to the entire The Flying Classroom BITTS team for arranging an unforgettable afternoon above beautiful Miami, FL. I have new appreciation for the term “altitude” and more awe than ever for the pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground crews that keep us all safe in the friendly skies. #aviation #transportation #climbingfast

Fantastic weekend in Denver, CO for NOYS! Lynda Tran and Emily Schweninger from our team kicked off #NYTEC2024 with an inspiring panel discussion, “Freedom to Move,” at the reimagined transit-oriented Union Station. They joined national activists and former USDOT senior advisors to explore how young people can shape transportation policy and drive meaningful reform. From innovative transit development to youth-led solutions for a more equitable future, the conversation was a powerful reminder of the impact young voices can have on reimagining our systems. Thank you to NOYS for hosting such an energizing event! #YouthVoices #MobilityJustice

Great to be in the Big Apple with We Don't Have Time for #ClimateWeekNYC. Our CEO Lynda Tran joined US Representatives Sean Casten and Don Beyer, and Karin Svensson (CSO, Volvo Group) for a far-ranging discussion moderated by Dr.Sweta Chakraborty about how the government is driving economic incentives for EVs. They shared how the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) is providing critical resources for EV infrastructure, while the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) builds on these investments and encourages consumer adoption by offering tax credits and other initiatives that are essential for boosting consumer demand and reassuring the private sector to continue their capital investments in EV technology. #EVs #CleanTransportation #ClimateAction

Check out this WCBS | CBS New York story featuring insights from our own Lynda Tran on the FAA's progress in addressing the air traffic controller shortage. While there is still more work to be done, Lynda described the FAA's efforts to date as momentous, noting that these initiatives are a significant step towards reversing the multi-decade trend of understaffing affecting the industry. The groundbreaking International Civil Aviation Organization Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Symposium in Montréal concluded the other week, marking a pivotal moment for aviation’s future. This event united 1,400 participants, including high-level officials from 75 countries, UN representatives, and industry leaders to shape a global vision for AAM. A key outcome of this conference was the Global Call to Action for AAM deployment, focusing on eVTOL, drones, and autonomous aircraft. We were honored to be in the Assembly Hall for this global leadership gathering alongside the innovators of Archer. We are energized by the collaborative spirit and committed to transforming urban air mobility for cleaner, more efficient skies. The future of aviation is taking shape, and we're proud to be on the frontlines of this transformation. #ICAOSymposium #AdvancedAirMobility #SustainableAviation #FutureOfFlight

Fantastic visit to the Mile High City this weekend to talk planes, trains, and automobiles. We were truly impressed with the transit oriented development at Denver’s reimagined Union Station — and we closed out a jampacked 24 hours with an energizing discussion on how young people can help shape transportation policy at the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) #NYTEC2024. Special thanks to Zach Stone and the STV team for hosting us late on a Friday afternoon.
