Let's give a big shoutout to Michele Sust, our amazing Sales Support Associate! Michele joined Limoneira in 2018, bringing over 35 years of sales experience and a passion for teamwork. She plays a key role in keeping our sales team running smoothly, proving that great service and a positive attitude go hand in hand. When she's not at work, you'll find Michele soaking up the sun, traveling, rocking out at concerts, or cruising down the PCH with a coffee in hand and '80s hits blasting. At home, she's greeted by her two playful cats, Stella and Holly, and her sweet pup, Abby. Michele, your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication make a difference every day! We're lucky to have you on our team.

Limoneira's leadership team will be at the ROTH Conference on March 17-18, discussing our strategic transformation and key growth drivers. President and CEO, Harold Edwards, and Executive Vice President and CFO, Mark Palamountain, will meet with investors to share how Limoneira is unlocking shareholder value through land development, water monetization, and a shift toward an asset-lighter business model. This includes expanding avocado production to 2,000 acres, targeting 30 million pounds annually, and increasing citrus supply through grower partnerships. "Limoneira continues to execute on our strategic transformation to unlock shareholder value through transformative land-use conversion and water monetization, while growing our avocado and citrus returns," said Harold Edwards. We're looking forward to engaging with the investment community.

Let’s hear it for Miguel Lopez, our incredible Compac Seed Coordinator! Miguel started as a general laborer and, through hard work and dedication, worked his way up to become a key player on our team. He helps keep our Compac Spectrim Technology running smoothly, making sure our pack lines operate at their best. But Miguel doesn’t stop there, he’s also pursuing his MBA while balancing his career, showing the same commitment to learning and growth that he brings to the team every day. When he’s not at work, you’ll find him studying, out on the golf course, or enjoying his diverse taste in music. Miguel, we’re grateful to have you on our team! Our farming team recently attended the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. From groundbreaking technologies to sustainable farming practices, the expo offers a wealth of knowledge. By staying informed, we aim to enhance our operations, boost yields, and uphold our commitment to sustainability. Attending events like this ensures we're at the forefront of agricultural innovation, ready to implement the best practices for our farming operations.

Recently, the Limoneira Farming Team had the opportunity to attend the Brokaw Nursery Open House. The Brokaw team gave us an incredible tour of their nursery and Long Canyon Ranch, sharing their expertise and passion for every tree they propagate—some of which may one day be planted on Limoneira ranches. During the tour, we learned about new clonal rootstocks and their potential to shape the future of the avocado industry. The day was filled with insightful discussions about cultural practices and innovations that will help move the industry forward. A huge thank you to the Brokaw Nursery Team for their hospitality, knowledge, and dedication. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Open House!

Sustainability takes teamwork! Building on our last post, we’re proud to partner with the Ventura County Resource Conservation District and their Healthy Soils Program (HSP) on this project to turn old trees we’ve cleared into nutrient-rich mulch as part of our commitment to regenerative agriculture. This grant-funded initiative not only improves soil health but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, aligning perfectly with our mission to farm responsibly and sustainably. Collaborations like this allow us to innovate and implement practices that benefit both our orchards and the environment.
