Safety first (and always) here at Lime! ???????? To support our ongoing commitment to code compliance, fire safety, and industry?partnerships, we participated in the International Code Council's Code Action Committee Hearings last month. We’re pleased to share that not only did Lime provide testimony regarding micromobility and fire safety regulations proposals, but we continue to remain engaged in the current ICC Code Development Cycle.? Here’s what we’re doing to ensure the safety for both Limers and riders globally: ??Invest in proper battery handling, storage, charging and related equipment ??Designing batteries that are safe and within compliance ??Provide rigorous training for our operations teams across the globe Organizations like the International Code Council play an important role in battery safety and are critical partners in the development of codes and regulations that make our communities safer. We’d like to express our gratitude to the International Code Council for hosting this event and for their work to elevate the safety of the entire micromobility industry.
