Gintare Radvila secured a confidential settlement for a Lillig & Thorsness, Ltd. client in a disturbing case involving tenant privacy rights and personal safety. Over several months, our client faced repeated, unauthorized intrusions into her apartment by an employee of the property manager. The employee rummaged through our client’s belongings and stole personal items. It was only after the installation of surveillance cameras that our client confirmed the employee’s trespasses and theft. Through diligent advocacy, Gintare held the responsible parties accountable on theories of negligent hiring, negligent retention, and breach of tenant rights.

Lillig & Thorsness equity partner Thomas G. Oddo celebrates his nine year anniversary with the firm. An experienced trial attorney, Tom has taken numerous cases to verdict in a variety of matters, including shareholder and limited liability company member disputes, contract disputes, construction and design defect cases, mechanics liens, emergency injunction litigation, intellectual property disputes, and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death actions. Because of his extensive trial experience, Tom also serves as outside general counsel for many clients in a variety of industries. In addition to his legal practice, Tom serves on the Board of Directors for Benet Academy and is active in his community through the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, KidsMatter, and the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Aashay also has experience in general securities law compliance and reporting for public companies. A 2022 graduate of Marquette University Law School, Aashay worked as an intern for Judge Jill Karofsky of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and Chief Judge Diane Sykes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Aashay is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin.
