We are proud to have Dr. Harry Ross as a Founding Board Member at Lilia Biotechnology. Dr. Ross has over 20 years of experience as a biotech executive and corporate investor. He has co-founded numerous medical device and pharmaceutical companies including Cymbidium Medical, Vertos Medical, and RxKinetix, for which he was awarded Colorado Biotech company of the year. He also served as Managing Partner at Aweida Ventures, a venture capital firm based in the Greater Denver area where he specialized in Health Science investments. In addition to numerous corporate Boards, he has also served on advisory Boards at the University of Colorado Tech Transfer, University of Colorado Medical Center, Colorado School of Mines, and Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Dr. Ross received his medical degree (MD) from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991, and then went on to complete both surgical internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center before obtaining Emergency Medicine Board Certification.

We are proud to have Aaron Cohen-Gadol, MD, MSc, MBA as a Founding Board Member. Dr. Cohen is an internationally recognized neurosurgeon, scientist, inventor, and healthcare entrepreneur. He is Founder of The Neurosurgical Atlas, the world’s largest neurosurgical education software platform with over 70,000 members and an average of 3,000 active users per day. He is the Stead Family Chair in Neurosurgery, Professor of Neurosurgery, and Director of Neurosurgical Oncology at Indiana University Health. Dr. Cohen is the recipient of the Vilhelm Magnus Medal, referred to as the "Nobel Prize in neurosurgery" from the Scandinavian Neurosurgical Association for his innovative and pioneering efforts in advancing neurosurgical techniques and outcomes worldwide. Dr. Cohen's surgical success stories have been featured on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer," CBS’ "The Doctors" and many other television events. Dr. Cohen has over 500 peer-reviewed scientific publications in clinical and translational neuroscience and is Associate Editor of Neurosurgical Focus. Dr. Cohen completed his residency training in neurosurgery at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed advanced fellowship training in two subspecialties: epilepsy surgery at Yale University and skull base/cerebrovascular surgery at the University of Arkansas. He also attained a MS in clinical research from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School and completed his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He obtained his MD with Highest Distinction from the University of Southern California and his BA in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California San Diego.
