Feeling extra thankful and proud today. We have finally reached a threshold where we can begin using Revit LT and we officially purchased our own software! We'd been using AutoCAD and Bluebeam for a while, but being able to finally have our own licenses for Revit is a big accomplishment for us! Photometric calculations are one of our favorite services because they detail out (more realistically) how a lighting design strategy works in a space. We recently had a client reach out asking for design inspiration and color consulting based on a photo they had seen on Pinterest for a dark, moody kitchen. They wanted to match the inspiration photo as much as possible, but still get our design taste and ideas woven in. All of the pictures you see are actual, shoppable items that the client can pick out and actually install in their kitchen - our services come with a full list (not shown) including pricing and sourcing links. While this isn’t the most glamorous photo ever, it’s a good example of some of the work we do! We have a client who wants to turn their auditorium into more of a theatrical feel. They want the foot candle readings to be high enough for their youth group activities, but also be able to dim everything down with various zones and scene selections for all sorts of different events and Sunday services. Part of our lighting design services includes renderings to show realistic lighting in your space. Did you know you can actually SAVE money by hiring an interior designer? We know, sounds weird right? But did you know that private interior designers and small firms often times hold trade accounts with certain brands that they love - which means they can get discounts that aren't available to regular people? It's true! We have trade accounts with a couple large brands, including Sherwin Williams, Daltile, Ruggable and more! This means if you see something you like, the price you see online most likely ISN'T what you'll pay! Although you'll still pay a design fee, the discounts you'll receive off of furnishings and finishes can climb upwards of 30%, meaning you'll still save money across the entire project. After the initial design meeting with our clients, and following preliminary sketch approval, it’s time for floor plan layouts stage to begin! We offer up to three full design iterations per phase before additional service fees come into play. We understand that making decisions can be really hard, so we make sure to build this into our standard fees! It’s one more way we show our clients our love and appreciation for working with them.
