Batteries are on site at our project in Paxton, Massachusetts with Paxton Municipal Light Dept! This project is projected to save $10 million in energy costs throughout its lifetime, while improving grid resilience for the community and helping Massachusetts reach its goal of net zero emissions by 2050. The Paxton project is part of our ongoing partnership with Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) to deploy a fleet of storage projects with municipal utilities across the commonwealth. These projects are projected to lower utility costs by approximately $200 million. Stay tuned for more project updates!

Holden, Massachusetts is now home to a brand new energy storage project! This week, we partnered with Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company (MMWEC) and Holden Municipal Light Dept to unveil an energy storage system that is part of our broader Massachusetts program with MMWEC. We were honored to have Undersecretary of Energy Michael Judge, State Representative Kimberly Ferguson and State Senator Peter Durant speak to how this energy storage project will safeguard the community against rising costs from peak electricity demand while using cleaner power sources to track toward statewide energy targets.
