Project Spotlight: Jio World Centre In a country known for simple, 5000K cool white fluorescent lighting, this project set a new bar. The owners requested a world class destination, whose technology and design would showcase India's abilities throughout the project, with the entire project totaling over 8,000,000 square feet. Incredible detailing wove traditional Indian design elements into a modern architectural statement, and the lighting was craftily integrated into these elements. The lighting integrated lotus flowers into giant, custom chandeliers, backlit traditional jaali ceilings and vertical metal grilles, all traditional Indian building techniques. Every light fixture was individually controlled and programmed with a modern DALI control system, the largest ever built by the vendor. Dynamic lighting included 4 channel RGBA DMX controlled LEDs, all coordinated through the same lighting control system. All combined, there are over 14,500 unique control zones. While retaining all of its beauty, the project was also LEED Platinum Certified, a testament to its sustainability. Photography by Harshan Thomson

Project Spotlight: JOEY Restaurants With numerous JOEY Restaurant locations across North America, we are thrilled to have recently celebrated the opening of the 10th location we were fortunate to be part of. It was a privilege to bring our vision to life through innovative lighting design. A warm and inviting ambiance at JOEY restaurants is created by large-scale decorative chandeliers, and by framing projectors aimed to precisely direct light onto each dining table to create a glare-free visual environment. While each location offers a slightly different design concept, warm 2700K lighting helps to unify the brand’s overall vision while complementing the interior palette of wood, stone, and metal finishes. We are excited to share photos from a few of the locations including Aventura, DTLA, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, and Northpark.
