Our 2025 scholarship application is now available! Each year we award exceptional high school and college students with funding to help further their academic careers. We were excited to meet Thibaut de Martimprey, Director of the Campus Louis Braille, an international initiative based in the Duroc district of Paris. The campus is dedicated to creating an excellence hub focused on research, development, and innovation to foster greater inclusion for visually impaired individuals at global level. We hope we can work collaboratively in the future!

Congratulations to Hoby Wedler, Ph.D. on receiving the 2024 Alan R. Morse Lecture in Advocacy award. Part of Dr. Wedler's amazing career as a blind chemist has been teaching and showing blind and low vision students that can in fact love chemistry and pursue it as a career, even if they had previously never heard that before.

Congratulations to Dr. JR Rizzo on receiving the 2024 Lighthouse Guild Pisart Award in Technological Innovation. Dr. Rizzo's work to improve assistive technology for navigation for people who are blind and have low vision is vitally important for our community.

Congratulations to Dr. Thomas Lee receiving the 2024 Bressler Prize in Vision Science! Dr. Lee presented today at Lighthouse Guild and about the incredible work being done at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Vision Center, and how he helped virtually train surgeons in Armenia to save sight for Armenian children. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for CHLA and Dr. Lee! #CHLA

Today Regeneron volunteers were with our GuildCare Manhattan clients celebrating a fall festival as part of their eighth annual Day for Doing Good!
