Join us at the Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium (MPDC) Showcase Event on October 9th at The Energy Advancement and Innovation Center at The Ohio State University! This event will highlight the first year of achievements and Spring awardees of the first funding cycle. The Showcase will bring key stakeholders together to discuss the major pediatric initiatives and strategies aiding innovators, companies, and investors. The?Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium (MPDC)?is a newly formed FDA-funded consortium led by Nationwide Children's Hospital, The Ohio State University, Cincinnati Children's, and Cleveland Clinic Children’s, launched to utilize the resources of the Midwest to advance pediatric device development across the country. This program provides specific funding for devices and resources for inventors to advance their projects. The FDA awarded a $6.95 million grant to the collaboration to establish the MPDC and to provide funding, resources, networking, clinical trial infrastructure, a commitment to under-served populations, real-world evidence, and collaboration with other national PDCs. ?? ?? That’s a wrap on the Morgenthaler-Pavey Startup Competition! We had a blast celebrating the accomplishments of all of our finalists last night.
