The symptoms of an anxiety attack may seem like something else at first, especially if you’ve never had one before. The first things people notice are often physical symptoms such as a rapid or pounding heartbeat, difficulty breathing, nausea, or chest pain. It’s worth noting that the term “anxiety attack” is commonly used, but it’s not a formal clinical diagnosis in the DSM-5. The clinically recognized term is “panic attack.” Having one anxiety attack may not mean that you need to seek treatment. If you’re feeling anxious a lot, having panic attacks often or noticing that you feel anxious in specific situations, you should speak with a licensed clinician. We can help! No two clients receive the same treatment at Lightfully because we provide highly personalized treatment. #physicalsymptoms #seektreatment #feelinganxious #anxietyattack #chestpain

There are two roles that define most codependent relationships: the caregiver and the dependent. These roles can sometimes reverse depending on the situation. Families often develop codependent relationships when one person has a substance use disorder, abuses others or has another problematic behavior. Children often learn these roles and behaviors by observing them, and then they repeat the same dynamics in their relationships as adults. With time and treatment, you can unlearn patterns of codependency and build healthy relationships. Are you looking for help with codependency right now?
