"Journaling is one of the few activities that isn’t performative." It wasn’t until college that writing began to take on significance. Through creative writing classes, Ryder discovered that journaling could be more than just a record of daily events; it could be a powerful tool for self-expression. “Writing really became a form of expression for me, and then I realized that I could actually start to do the same thing about my life, start to express myself that way,” he explains. This realization marked a turning point in his relationship with journaling. No longer was it just about capturing data—it became a means of exploring and understanding his inner world. Though anything in life is possible, not everything is. We’re finite beings with limited time for breathing life into possibilities. Those are the rules of the game. When we embrace these rules, it can help us bring our long game into the present moment. The biggest risk becomes losing the opportunity to realize what we care about most. #bulletjournal #bujo #bulletjournaling #journaling #decisions #decisionmaking

“Images allow me to connect deeply with certain ideas in a way that written words sometimes cannot.” That’s why Sakuraco Bryant (@sakuraco1989) makes vision boards in her Bullet Journal. For her, vision boards can be a powerful tool for setting intentions and, more importantly, keeping those intentions visible and top of mind. Sakuraco’s process for creating a vision board helps her uncover what’s meaningful to her on a personal level. Her process lets her reflect on her current life circumstances, identify how that makes her feel, and figure out how she can use that to guide her vision for the future. Read all about Sakuraco’s vision board and how to make one in your Bullet Journal through this link: https://lnkd.in/ejtQw3D8 #bulletjournal #bulletjournaling #journaling #bujo #visionboard #intentions #settingintentions #planning #mindfulness #intentionality

The Bullet Journal? ?Method has been a part of my work productivity life for so long that when I became a certified trainer, I was surprised that so many people actually had no idea what it was! It's literally changed my life as a person with ADHD. I not only get more done, I get more of what I ???????? to do and ???????? to do, not just whatever shows up in my inbox. So here's a short introduction that hopefully crushes some myths: 1. You don't need perfect handwriting. 2. While a pen and a notebook have an important place in the Method, you don't have to use them. You can use digital tools if that's what works best for you. You can use a pencil, crayon, or marker if that's what you prefer. 3. There's no artistic ability, washi tape, or stickers involved-unless that's something you enjoy doing. Follow me for more tips on #productivity, #ADHD, and #personalmastery. ?
