A storied Maine home gets a lighting refresh ?? High Head’s historic charm deserved a lighting scheme that truly honored its architectural details. By introducing some visual hierarchy and intentional layering, we transformed the once-dark and flat spaces into a vibrant, inviting home. What we did: ??Brightened the Great Hall ceilings to showcase the warm wood tones ??Emphasized the refurbished fireplace and bookshelves with shielded directional accents and integrated, articulating shelf lights ??Guided the eye through the entrance to the stunning picture window via intentional light layering Even the bedrooms received a thoughtful glow, with art walls and fireplaces now taking center stage alongside the decorative overhead fixtures. One year, can you believe it? The last twelve months have been a fantastic ride; simultaneously the start of something new and the clear continuation of a 10-year path. We’ve lit breweries, retail spaces, and schools...showpiece new homes & story-filled renovations. Thank you to those who made me feel as if I’d never left the Maine design community and those who brought me into new ones.
