It was a pleasure to represent Lifetime Cardinal at Summer Scamper today. So cool to see all the community come out and support the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital!

I have enjoyed a love affair with sports at Stanford since I arrived on The Farm in 1988. Being able to chase a true passion while helping to build a new start-up business is the perfect way to start the next chapter of my career. After 14 wonderful years of global business building, I retired from Google in February to find my next play. I am thrilled to announce that in April I joined the Stanford Name, Image & Likeness (“NIL”) collective Lifetime Cardinal as its Executive Director. I am excited to guide Lifetime Cardinal consistent with Stanford’s mission to create leaders of our student-athletes, and help them learn how to contribute to their communities with integrity. Like Stanford, Lifetime Cardinal will strive for excellence and will hold itself to the highest standards. I am committed to always do the right thing. Many thanks to David Aufhauser for his interim leadership, and for getting Lifetime Cardinal off the ground and running over the past year– I am excited to build and grow the organization from the strong foundation he and the team have built. College sports have changed dramatically since 1988. Being competitive in a Power 5 conference like the ACC (Stanford’s new sports home) means also competing in the new NIL marketplace. Lifetime Cardinal is an NIL Collective that strengthens the soul of the Stanford community by supporting elite student-athletes who create competitive and championship winning Cardinal teams. When Stanford sports win, the entire Cardinal community wins. Lifetime Cardinal drives Stanford’s athletic success through three pillars of support for student-athletes: 1) endorsement contracts that promote local non-profit groups, 2) career services that provide resume/professional brand building, internship opportunities and Stanford alumni mentorship, and 3) financial education for responsible tax payment and unique and sound investment options.
