We agree with this opinion piece in the New York Times on the decline in geriatric care. It’s also why our team are experts in geriatric, or ‘senior-savvy’ medicine as we like to say. As the human body ages, there are fundamental differences in every stage from childhood to elderhood and we should approach health with the same level of attention to each. The only problem, “those fortunate enough to live well into “late adulthood” also face an unfortunate reality: There are not enough doctors to give them the care they need.” Read on for this opinion piece in the NYT. Thank you, @nytimes, for calling attention to this important need! https://hubs.ly/Q036H1Tp0
