In honor of Certified Nurses Day, we are spotlighting one of our Certified Nurses, Danielle Rainey,BSN, RN, RAC-CTA, our Director, Clinical Reimbursement. Danielle’s certifications include Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified Advanced and Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified. She sees her certifications as a way of validating her expertise and demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and resident care. For Tiffany, being able to spend time with residents is one of the highlights of her job; she always feels useful when she can make a resident’s day better. She also values her team for their dedication, passion, and hard work, especially as long-term care is always evolving. As an Administrator, she feels that she serves as a bridge between independent living and long-term care and skilled nursing. #WomensHistoryMonth is a time to celebrate the achievements women have made throughout history and the ongoing strides they continue to make. At Lifespace, we take pride in the female team members who play vital roles in transforming aging. From direct care management to key roles in various departments and in leadership positions, these women are instrumental in delivering on our mission. Our female residents also boast diverse career backgrounds – from former mayors to doctors to homemakers to educators – some who actively participate in community resident leadership roles and committees today. Many female trailblazers faced formidable challenges, but through their determination and grit, they have helped to reshape our world, paving the way for increased access to opportunities to pursue their aspirations.
