There is no better resource for current Blue Jays than a former student. Thank you Chinat Yu for coming back to your alma mater and spending time with students at the Life Design Lab! We are so appreciative of the wisdom you shared and the connections made with our students.
Recently, I had the chance to return to The Johns Hopkins University and it was an incredibly rewarding experience! After helping to host and run a hackathon, I stayed to guest lecture in several classes, visiting former professors, and running a workshop for the software engineering club. In addition to teaching, I also had the opportunity to host office hours with the The Life Design Lab at Johns Hopkins University where I shared career advice and insights with current students. It was great to connect, answer questions, and help students navigate their next steps. One of the best parts of the visit was catching up with my mentors and professors—Alissa Burkholder Murphy, Todd Murphy, Jenna Frye , Ali Madooei, Joanne (Houlahan) Selinski, Anton Dahbura , Lawrence Aronhime, Matt Hellauer, Paul Davidson, Mike Reese and Rod Bourn —as well as students from HopHacks and Adoremus. These conversations made the trip truly fruitful and fulfilling. Grateful for the chance to give back, learn, and share—excited for more opportunities ahead!
