关于我们
Mission Statement: To save, enhance and change lives through organ and tissue donation. LifeCenter, "A Donate Life Organization," encourages and coordinates the donation of organs and tissues for transplantation, working with the Greater Cincinnati area hospitals and transplant centers. LifeCenter's clinical staff provides 24-hour service for referrals, case management, recovery and organ placement when donation occurs. Our education staff provides programs for schools, civic and community groups, religious institutions and healthcare professionals. Additional services offered by LifeCenter include bereavement services for donor families, volunteer opportunities, and donor registry drives for area businesses and organizations that facilitate the enrollment of donors.

Congratulations to our long-time Donate Life Ambassador, Elaine Lampkins-Harris, for recently being recognized by LifeCenter with the 2023 "Above and Beyond" Ambassador of the Year award. Elaine is both a donor family and recipient family. She likes to tell us, "All I do is talk to people," but that's exactly what we need in an Ambassador! She's always lovely when engaging with the community about registering as organ, eye, and tissue donors. We are grateful to have you, Elaine! #DonateLife #DonateLifeAmbassadors #volunteers #volunteerrecognition #organdonation #volunteerappreciation #aboveandbeyond

What an incredible weekend for LifeCenter! ?? We kicked off on Saturday with our 4th annual Live Healthy and Move Health and Wellness Fair at Central Park in Forest Park. In celebration of National Minority Donor Awareness Month, this event focused on empowering our communities of color with tools for better health. DJ Andy G brought the FUN! Thank you to our amazing partners We THRIVE! Forest Park and the Forest Park Fire Department for helping make this event a success. Saturday evening, we celebrated the dedication of "The Courage to Give" mural. It was a joy to see the community come together to honor artist Jeni Jenkins and the ArtWorks Cincinnati apprentices behind this work, with a special performance by PONES INC bringing the mural to life. The mural boasts an inspiring quote from double kidney transplant recipient Jennie Wright: “Above all else, let love be your legacy.” Jennie’s daughter, Siri Imani, performed an original song that beautifully captured the spirit of the evening. We are so proud to see the enduring legacy of love that organ donation creates. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for these events. ??
