October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and at Life Unlimited, we’re honored to support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. The U.S. Department of Labor reported in 2022 that only 21.3% of people with a disability were employed, compared to 65.4% of those without a disability. In that same year, the unemployment rate for individuals with disabilities was more than double the national average. At Life Unlimited, we know these gaps can be narrowed with the right support, advocacy, and commitment to inclusivity.
