Our most recent expansion into North America began in Houston, Texas. This state of the art facility allows Lichtgitter to provide a domestic product offering in one of the largest grating markets in the world and allow Lichtgitter to continue our core philosophy to provide quality grating products with the shortest delivery times and provide our clients with access to a world class single source grating solutions provider. Gratings for normal and special loadings are produced with highly integrated welding and fabrication processes which require a high level of technical expertise. Our product range allows countless applications for platforms and walkways, storage racking, security fencing, fa?ade gratings, sun screens, ceiling tiles and lighting fixtures and patterns, serving the industrial market as well as architectural and aesthetic purposes. Apart from the production of our standard panels and gratings, special and custom-made gratings, FRP gratings and perforated metal planks constitute a welcome challenge to our professional staff. Steel, LLC is thrilled to announce our latest achievement in collaboration with Nestlé Purina PetCare Company! We’ve completed fabrication of 50 tons for the Cooling Tower and completed 360 tons of fabrication for the Sterilization Tower in Hartwell, Georgia. This $550 million investment will not only enhance their pet food manufacturing facility but also create up to 130 new jobs in Hart County! Our team crafted a 2-Story mechanical building for the new Cooling Tower with galvanized grating and a robust seven-level braced steel frame with girts and fiberglass grating & stainless steel checkered plate flooring for the Sterilization Tower. Kudos to our erector, Superior Rigging & Erecting Co. , who was on-site today to unload three full trucks for the new Cooling Tower. All the grating is being provided by Lichtgitter and all stairs & rails are being furnished by TAYLORS IRON CO., INC. Swipe through the photos to see our hard work in action!
