I appreciate the opportunity to speak at The Center for Civil Justice at New York University School of Law on recent legislative responses to Litigation Finance. Including bill A.115 sponsor, Assembly Member Bill Magnarelli, we dove into topics that provide consumer access to legal funding while supporting legislation to regulate the industry. It was a healthy and productive session, and believe it to be a model for other states to follow.
