?? Happy Anniversary! ?? Tim Gore is celebrating 15 years with Liberty Hospice! “The past 15 years have proven to be a wonderful experience working with Liberty Hospice. I came to the Fayetteville office in January of 2010. At that time, I had 15 years of hospice experience, having started as a hospice volunteer under the leadership of Mrs. Jona Alborn. Jona and I have many stories to share about our experiences over the years. In my 15 years, I have helped cover several offices in time of need. Fayetteville, Raeford, Southern Pines, Dunn, Smithfield, Sanford, Siler City, Burlington, Supply and Wadesboro are all places I have traveled to make visits and provide support to families. I helped train several of our current chaplains and still serve as a source of encouragement and support. Early in 2023, I decided to step back from being a full-time chaplain and started the process of eventually reaching retirement. I am currently part-time and help when needed in the offices in my area. This new role has also allowed me time to be involved in the community and do special events, teaching about hospice care whenever I get an opportunity. The people I have met through work and ministry in the area of hospice have enriched my life and given me opportunity to serve others in many ways. ?? THROWBACK THURSDAY: Celebrating 150 Years of Caring for Others ?? Today, we’re honoring Emily Caison Zawacki, a dedicated and long-time member of the McNeill’s Pharmacy team. Emily was known for her patience, precision, and unwavering commitment to her work—qualities that made her an invaluable part of the pharmacy. Johnny McNeill relied heavily on her expertise, and she took great pride in everything she did. With her signature black cat-eyeglasses, Emily was a familiar and trusted face behind the counter. Outside of work, she found joy in her garden, tending to her flowers and vegetables, as well as canning and quilting—skills that reflected her love for both nature and craftsmanship. Though she is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
