Liberty Bank was a sponsor for the 7th Annual Silverdale Rotary Turkey Trot. ?Attended by Galina Georgieva, VP Relationship Manager, her husband Josh and daughter Vivian. This year they welcomed just over 770 participants to enjoy a Kid’s Dash, 1 Mile, 5K and 10K Runs. Galina and her family did the 1 Mile Run.?Her daughter finishing 59th out of 128 and Galina 65th out of 128, but second in my age group. The $15,000 raised will be used for the Rotary’s Fight Hunger programs to provide food to young people and families in need all year long. The program will start with filling over 400 bags of food to send home with kids from CK Schools. This will ensure that kids that are food insecure will have food over the 2-week Christmas break. Each school provides exact numbers of how many kids they have, who are food insecure and at risk to stay hungry over the holidays.
