???????????????????? ????????????????: ?????? ?????? ???????????????????????? ?????????????? ?????????????? At LHM Foundation, we celebrate the fact that every person has a light within them. Unfortunately, life’s hardships and losses can make it harder to see. Today, we are honored to announce the launch of our Horizons transitional housing program and Expanding Horizons fundraising campaign. Chief Executive Officer, Amy Foerster, shared, “There is a transitional housing shortage across our local communities, such that many in need go without supportive programming designed to help them overcome barriers to securing long-term housing. Our new Horizons program will provide a vital resource to individuals and families across South Central PA facing homelessness and housing insecurity.” Luke Drayer, chair of LHM Foundation’s Board, has contracted to purchase a 42,000 square-foot former senior living facility in Harrisburg, the use of which he and his wife, Kelly, are donating to LHM Foundation so that Horizons participants can live in a secure and supportive environment throughout the program. The building, located on almost 15 acres, features 58 resident units for single adults and families, a commercial-grade kitchen and dining room, employment and education readiness spaces, and several gathering spaces to foster community. Luke shared, “I am proud that LHM Foundation is committed to creating and implementing solutions that address the unmet needs of our communities. I look forward to witnessing and supporting the meaningful impact the Foundation’s transitional housing program will have on participants.” LHM Foundation’s Expanding Horizons fundraising campaign seeks to raise $10 million to open the doors of the future family care facility by October 2025. The campaign includes a broad range of naming and sponsorship opportunities. We cannot serve those in need without your support.
