LGBTQ+ Health Equality was an advocacy platform founded by Jose Francisco in 2017 to address the previous inequality in access to HIV and STI testing services for LGBTQ+ students at San Francisco State University. During its activity, LGBTQ+ Health Equality produced writing, advised university administration and organizations, and formulated strategic planning to advance this issue of inequity. On May 2018, Francisco was able to successfully advocate for institutional level policy change at San Francisco State University which established equitable sexual health services for LGBTQ+ students.
