French and Brian Flis had the privilege of participating in The 2024 Veterans Advanced Energy Summit, engaging in discussions with senior policymakers, industry leaders, and military officials from across the US. The summit delved into crucial issues at the intersection of energy, climate change, renewable energy, defense, and national security. Hosted by The Atlantic Veteran’s Advanced Energy Project, the event is dedicated to fostering US leadership in advanced energy by leveraging the expertise of military veterans. Their mission is to advocate for global involvement and develop solutions for the pressing challenges of our era. French and Brian Flis joined leaders in business, policy, agriculture, industry experts and civil society representatives from all over the world, holding discussions to champion a healthy planet. This year’s theme, “It’s Time,” centered on ten event topics: Energy, Environmental Justice, Finance, Food, Health, Heavy Industry, Nature, Policy, Sustainable Living, and Transport. “Within these dialogues, the subject of sustainable living pointed to the importance of things like global policy imperative to accelerating action, reducing waste, using renewable energy sources and promoting eco-friendly practices in everyday life,” stated Ms. French. “Food and agriculture were prominent throughout my dialogues at Newsweek Global Headquarters. LF Bioenergy actively participated in the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City's annual forum, engaging in crucial discussions surrounding economic, policy and emerging trends in the U.S. farm economy. The forum included talks on USDA Climate Smart programs, farming innovations and the future of biofuels in U.S. agriculture.? ? Key figures such as Jerry Moran and Congressman Tracey Mann: Manhattan District Office highlighted pressing issues facing farmers, such as high input costs and declining farm income. They emphasized the importance of passing the Farm Bill and enhancing opportunities for agricultural exports. ? USDA Under Secretary Robert Bonnie?stressed the significance of exploring carbon markets and the role USDA can play in providing more opportunities for rural communities. Dr. Seth Meyer, USDA Chief Economist, presented trends indicating tighter margins in U.S. farm economics, while the panel on the Future of Biofuels discussed the promising opportunities for U.S. agriculture and biofuels. ? “LF Bioenergy's presence and active engagement in these discussions demonstrate our team’s commitment to finding innovative solutions and supporting the sustainable growth of U.S. agriculture and the biofuels industry,” said Cyn S. Rise and ?? from Stauffer Farms LLC! Our mornings start early, when we guide our cows to the milking parlor. Our cows eat as much feed and drink as much water as they like… and they sleep on sand bedding, ensuring they stay comfortable and healthy.
